The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It's more than a place; it's a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind. August is a superb time to visit Bali especially if you are coming from the middle of winter back home. The days are warm and tropical and the evenings just right. We pack this tour full of awesome photography expeditions so come ready for early sunrises and long beautiful sunsets. But we also make sure you also experience the warm and calm nature of the very friendly Balinese people and rich culture.
We start the tour in the charming and historic town of Ubid located among'st rice paddies and retaining a laid back feeling. On a day trip north we head to the amazing Tegallalang rice Terraces and take in a traditional coffee plantation where very unique images can be captured. We get up and personal with the locals at the famous Monkey Temple Forest again providing an opportunity for some great photography. No visit to Ubid would be complete without an early morning visit to the food markets which are not to be missed. Next we head to the coast and out to the incredible Gili Islands – just of the north-west coast of Lombok. These small archipelago group of islands provide a unique and beautiful location to photograph a beautiful and very laid-back location.
